President’s Message:
At Plantscapers, continuous learning, team building, and creating meaningful experiences are at the heart of what we do. When the opportunity arose to attend the first-ever live event hosted by the Henley Leadership Group, we jumped at the chance. Having followed Henley Leadership and their teachings for years, it was an incredible opportunity to experience their leadership philosophy in person.
Julie Farrow, CEO & Founder, and Paige, Service Operations Manager, spent three inspiring days in Seattle connecting with industry leaders, sharing ideas, and bringing back fresh perspectives for our team and clients.
One highlight of the trip was visiting The Spheres, Amazon’s stunning indoor botanical sanctuary. Designed to help employees relax and recharge, this remarkable space showcases rare plants from around the world and serves as a powerful example of biophilic design in action. The breathtaking floor-to-ceiling living wall was the true centerpiece of the experience, featuring an extraordinary collection of plants that create an immersive environment unlike any other.
We were also honored to spend time with our friends at Seattle Plant Company, participating in a team-building workshop focused on collaboration, problem-solving, and company culture. Guided by leadership coach Karin Horn, the workshop reinforced the importance of core values as the foundation of a successful organization.
The experience provided valuable insights, meaningful connections, and practical ideas that we’re excited to bring back to Plantscapers. Most importantly, it reinforced our commitment to continuous learning, strong leadership, and building a culture rooted in collaboration and growth. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from such talented professionals and look forward to applying these lessons as we continue investing in innovation, our team, and the exceptional experiences we create for our clients.
