President’s Message:
Each year, one of the traditions I look forward to most is our Plantscapers Family Company Picnic.
For us, this day is about much more than simply taking an afternoon away from work. It is an important part of our culture and gives our team and their families a chance to connect, relax, laugh and enjoy time together outside of the everyday work environment.
One of my favorite parts of the picnic is seeing everyone contribute in their own way. Our team brings homemade dishes and family favorites to share, which always makes the day feel even more personal. We enjoy games, friendly competition, lots of laughs, and of course, raffle prizes that add a little extra fun and excitement throughout the afternoon.
But more than anything, what truly warms my heart is seeing the families and children year after year. Watching the kids grow, seeing familiar faces return, and getting to spend time with the people who support our employees outside of work is incredibly special to me. It is a reminder that Plantscapers is not just made up of employees it is made up of families, relationships and people who have grown alongside us over the years.
These moments matter. They help build stronger relationships, encourage teamwork and create the sense of connection that we work hard to maintain as Plantscapers continues to grow.
As a family-owned company for 45 years, we have always believed that creating a positive work environment starts with making our employees feel valued, connected and appreciated. When people enjoy the team they work with and feel that they are part of something meaningful, it carries over into the service they provide to our clients every day.
Our annual picnic is one of the many ways we continue investing in that culture. It allows our employees and their families to simply enjoy being together, create memories and strengthen the relationships that carry back into our workplace long after the day is over.
We are incredibly proud of the team and culture we have built at Plantscapers, and we are equally grateful for the clients who continue to support our family business.
