An extravaganza at Modernism Week 2017 best describes the jubilant vibe that rocked Palm Springs from February 16 – 26th. Architects, designers and a whole lot of fun people swirled through parties, tours and incredibly designed homes.
What is Modernism Week?
Modernism Week celebrates and fosters appreciation of mid-century architecture and design, as well as contemporary thinking in these fields. It encourages education, preservation and sustainable modern living represented in the greater Palm Springs area.
The annual celebration of mid-century modern design, architecture, art, fashion and culture features more than 250 events including the Modernism Show & Sale, Signature Home Tours, films, lectures, Premier Double Decker Architectural Bus Tours, nightly parties and live music, walking and bike tours, tours of Sunnylands, fashion, classic cars, modern garden tours, a vintage travel trailer exhibition, and more.
