President’s Message:
Spring is in the air, and with it comes a renewed sense of creativity and inspiration. Our Plantscapers design team recently headed out for a fun-filled and educational field trip. One of our favorite ways to keep ideas fresh and stay ahead of new trends. Exploring new and exciting plant varieties allows us to bring the very best designs to our projects, and it’s all part of our commitment to continuous learning and growth. At Plantscapers, we truly invest in our people.
The day began with a visit to a fabulous grower specializing in unique bromeliads, all in full, vibrant bloom. We were inspired by stunning varieties cultivated from rainforest environments, along with some incredible tillandsia (air plants) that are perfect for wall displays or artistic vessels. A standout favorite was the impressive collection of large, specialty staghorn ferns. Our creative juices were definitely flowing! It’s safe to say the ‘70s plant vibe is making a comeback, with bold Monstera and other striking varieties adding to our ever-evolving design palette.
Next, we visited a new outdoor grower showcasing fresh spring flowers and plants—perfect inspiration for our patioscaping projects. These vibrant selections bring energy, color, and joy to both our corporate and residential spaces. We’re also reminded how important it is to source plants from trusted, high-quality growers. Many of these plants are locally grown or sourced from Hawaii and Florida, ensuring both sustainability and premier quality.
We wrapped up the day with a team lunch alongside our sales group, sharing ideas, discussing exciting upcoming projects, collaborating, and simply enjoying time together outside the office. It was a fun-filled and meaningful outing for everyone and one we highly recommend!
